The Farmhouse Place Then and Now

The Farmhouse Place is our family welcoming yours and preserving some history along the way. We offer a homey atmosphere with lots of nostalgic character to host your next small gathering.

Don and Minnette Hedges purchased The Riverside Fruit Farm in 1978 where they raised their family of two boys on the roughly 28 acres apple orchard.

In 2018 the legacy was passed onto the next generation, and we began referring to it as The Farm.

In 2021, the fallow field became 20 acres of hay with future plans for a few small animals to join the alpacas, and a U-Pick garden area too!

In 2025, we decided to share our love of many things with others and began hosting classes and small gatherings in the original farm home built in 1925. The Farmhouse Place.
